How can CalTeach help with your K-12 outreach?

STEP 1: Connect!

Connect with our Special Programs Coordinator, Mariah Gonsalez at mgonsalez2@ucmerced.edu to discuss your K-12 outreach project

STEP 2: Plan!

Create a schedule to plan your curriculum and finalize specifics about your visit.

CalTeach staff, undergraduate interns, and faculty will assist you in coordinating the following details for your visit:

  • How long the activity/activities should be?
  • Who will lead the activity for visiting K-12 students?
    • If you do not have any undergraduate or graduate students in place to lead these, our Learning Lab Interns will work with you to lead out the activity.
  • When will this take place?
    • Fall and Spring semester
      • Outreach scheduled through the Learning Lab (Activities can range from 1-4 hour sessions)
    • Summer semester
